Here is the Installation file of the Ubuntu moblie 7.10 for aigo p8860,

just unzip it, and follow the readme.txt inside it.

It will install the ume 7.10 to the 2nd SSD disk, and you can boot it by selecting the 2nd one in the booting menu.

and do not modify and open any files of it except the readme.txt, or you might fail to install the system.

PS: to ajust your touchscreen -> open a terminal -> excute: "sudo calibration"

PS: just rename the "install.sh" file, it becomes a Live disk.

Please post here if anyone is success installation. I am not able to install it as USB stick cannot be mounted and not found the rootfs.img file after tried all few USB sticks.

I used superxx008 file to make the USB stick bootable. Unfortunately, all are failed on mounting the disk when installing. I am wondering if I can install it by CDrom?

Thanks for everyone's help. After my P8860 recovered, I could install this! It is greatest work! I can boot from the stock stupid Chinese OS or this Ubuntu mobile! It has everything I want....but the microSD is not in function!? Anyway, I should shut up with no complaint and enjoy this with full of my thankful.

if you're using my installation, the micro sd card storage is  "/home/ume/media" (insert before booting),
if you insert it after booting, just excute "sudo /etc/init.d/iusbc" , it will be in "/home/ume/media"

PS: this is just a ubuntu linux OS, you can customize it as you customize the linux
