Midinux GUI
As what I just mentioned in my first day impression, the Midinux Graphic User Interface is very fast and well organized.
I recorded a video to present the Midiux GUI. Hope you guys enjoy!
Answering to Chippy over UMPCPortal: Regarding the Blue Soleil, I was surprised by that at the very beginning although I know there will be Linux version for Blue Soleil!! However, when I paired my HTC TyTN II (PPC Phone) to it via Bluetooth.
I found the 1.0.0 version only supports BT Dial-UP Network (BT DUN) but not BT PAN (Personal Area Network) and already mentioned in their release note! Although I've tried this hack, it doesn't help! Maybe I have to get a Feature Phone to test it! Serial Port, File Transfer and OPP seems do not work on my TyTN II.
Midinux ElOffice
I also tried the ElOffice inside, almost support all office documents, DOC and Excel work fine. PPT supports animation (hopefully video, but I did not try) but the position of the ainimation is not accurate enough. I suggest it is just useful in rehersal! Let check the video below for more details.
Today's roundup
- Easy to use UI.
- GUI is smooth
- Smart Key is not that useful (I would prefer it is a track ball)
- ElOffice is useful and suggest as a document reader.
More??
Yes!! Video playback is good (even better than U2010 running Intel Z530 + Vista)
Battery Life is good!! Real good!!
